Click the link to see the article. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hauling-wife-kids-top-priority-scott-storys-slammed-suburban/ This Suburban was originally built in 2012 by Scott Story out of TN. Some details have changed since he built it, mainly a 76mm On 3 Performance Turbo has been added to the 5.3L LS Motor. This Suburban has a Front and Rear A/C as well as a very comfortable RideTech Air Ride system. You can cruise the Suburban with ease anywhere you want. This suburban was a participant in the 2015 Hot Rod Power Tour from Wisconsin to Louisiana! Keep reading for more details. The lower quarter-panels, inner and outer rocker panels, and passenger door post were replaced or repaired to eliminate the rust, but you'd never know it. Shaggy and Mark Mullins handled the bodywork and paint, and worked their magic to apply a faux patina to the replaced panels. This gives the illusion of minor surface rust in all the normal areas, and blends well with the truck's natural patina. David Corn at Pro Stitch Interiors handled the upholstery, which is blue leather with plaid inserts. All build photos are available. The 5.3L engine is out of a 2004 Silverado that had 68k miles, Texas Speed TR220 cam kit, ls2 timing chain, ls2 lifters, GM high volume oil pump, and ls2 lifter trays, Rebuilt 4L60e overdrive transmission with upgraded internals, GM 2200 Stall Converter, 76mm turbocharger with custom wrapped cross over exhaust tubes, Air to air hard piped inter cooler, Full 3 inch exhaust all the way to the rear of the vehicle, Dual air conditioning, front is vintage air and rear is factory Gm, single air pump, rear mounted air tank, Manual controls, C notched frame in rear, 6 lug 12 bolt rear differential with new 3.42 gear ratio, New 2 piece slider drive shaft and a new carrier bearing, Steel 15x7 front wheels with factory hubcaps, Rears are 15x8 with wider tires, Boyd’s rear fuel 20gal tank with internal electric fuel pump, RideTech Tubular lower front control arms with lowered airbag mounts, Front stabilizer bar, McGaughys 2.5 inch lowered front spindles, Power steering, Hydro boost brake system, Gas struts installed on the rear lift gate, Custom speed density tune for the turbo charged engine at 7psi, Smoothed firewall with hidden ac lines into the interior, Bluetooth Kenwood Stereo with Infinity Speakers, Dakota VHX digital gauges, 5 lug factory front disc brakes, New dash pad, Seatbelts in all seats, 1.5 inch blocks on trailing arms, Fully undercoated interior, New windshield, Sound shield wrap on floors and roof. This rig drives like a dream, straight as an arrow at 80mph. Heater and Defrost work like new, this rig needs nothing. I do have videos available at request. We can ship anywhere in the US and offer Airport Pickup. Third Party Inspections always welcome. Call, TEXT or Email anytime!
